Spine strip has been replaced with heavy coated tape to create a rather dubious but adequate faux leather effect. Boards well worn and rubbed obscuring most of original titling and decorations. Evident repair to front hinge with lack of continuity between front pastedown and Title Page at gutter.Lacks blank flyleaf and frontis portrait. Some sporadic mild scattered foxing, offset and soiling throughout. Although afflicted with cosmetic flaws, this is a Good, tight copy of one of the rarest of all Civil War Regimental histories.
