Illustrated with 86 of 89 full page tissue-guarded chromolithographic and monochromatic plates. Thick 4to (8" x 12"). Bound in pictorial gilt decorated cloth.
Covers soiled with sunning to spine (gilt still whole and bright). Very mild foxing to front and rear endsheets. This copy lacks 3 plates at pages 121, 140 and 269. Repair to gutter at site of removed plate (269), else a Very Good, tight, crisp copy with bright, clear plates. Due to the lack of 3 plates, an excellent opportunity to acquire this most desirable nautical title at a greatly reduced price.
