The Plan of Saint of Gall was printed in an Edition of 2500 sets. 150 of these sets were Deluxe, Specially Bound, signed by the authors and numbered by hand. This copy is #56 of the 150 of the Deluxe issues. Illustrated throughout with over one thousand colour and monochrome photographs, drawings, plans, schematics, diagrams, etc. both full page and en texte. Included with this Deluxe Limited Issue is a facsimile reproduction of the plan of St. Gall printed in 1952 by the Firma E. Lopfe-Benz Ag of Rohrschach, Switzerland and published by the Historische Verein des Kantons St. Gallen. The folded reproduction is in circuit loose in a pocket at the end of volume III. Printed in eight colours by photolithography on a sheet measuring 45.75 x 32 inches, this facsimile is a superlative work of graphic and printing technology. This facsimile was included only with the deluxe, Specially Bound Limited Edition. 3 Volumes, complete as issued. Folio. 11.0" x 14.5". Bound in half gilt ruled natural pigskin and cream buckram covered boards. Gilt titles to spine. Decorated endsheets. All edges gilded. Contained in cream buckram covered slipcase.
