Elaborate gilt panel devices to front and rear covers with tooled pictorial vignettes in corners. Pictorial tooled vignettes depicting various early California icons to spine compartments. Gilt tooled raised bands. Gilt tooled edges and turn-ins. Marbled endsheets. All edges gilded.
