Gilt ruled spine compartments with ornate gilt tooled motifs. Raised bands. Gilt titles. Marbled endsheets. t.e.g. ( top edge gilded).

Contains "Acknowledged Poems" and the controversial "Rowlley Poems". Substantially a reprint of the Cambridge edition, ed by C.B. Willcox, 1842, with some additions, this Edition contains the first publication of Chatterton's " Last Poems ", found in his notebook after his death.

The very mildest of edgewear. A Fine, bright, beautiful set of this important Edition.
